How to find time for yourself and stop feeling guilty
I know.
You hardly have a minute to breath.
It starts in the morning. You wake up and right away start thinking of everything you need to do. Kids. Work. Home. After-school therapists. Friends. Meetings. It never ends.
You don’t usually complain- that’s the way it is. Sometimes, after the kids are tucked in, you have an hour to yourself. But then you have to get ready for tomorrow. And by the time you finally get to relax, you’re exhausted and fall asleep.
Even if you find time in the middle of the day, there’s always something to do. Always something to arrange, think about, or worry about.
It’s that guilt, eating at you. Telling you that you have to be doing something every waking minute, or else… that endless list of chores will hunt you down.
Ah.
Don’t you wish this guilt left you alone? So you could have time for yourself, and really really enjoy it? Don’t you wish you could allow yourself to relax and rejuvenate?
The good news is you can.
And all it takes is a simple mindshift.
It might take a little practice, but once you get it- it can change your life.
