I haven’t used the headline hacks for over a year. I always start with formulating a how-to headline. And quite often, I am happy to leave it as a how-to.
The headlines above are just variations on a how-to headline.
Almost all my headlines are how-to or list headlines. Readers don’t need as much variation as you might think. And by focusing on a limited number of templates, you have to focus on including specific benefits and fine-tuning your word choice. Because if you don’t do that, your headlines become too similar.
