Day 4 of the intro week (Thursday)
How to post assignments (and quick course overview)
You want to learn how to write more engaging content, don’t you?
Well, let’s be honest.
Improving a skill is difficult. Whether it’s drawing, playing the piano, or writing, you can ALWAYS do better. It’s never perfect. And it never feels good enough.
But by aiming for perfection, we crush the joy of learning. So my advice for today is:
- post your assignments – even if you’re only 70% happy with it
- keep track of your progress and remind yourself what you’ve learned each week
- enjoy your writing and have fun
Action point #1
Download a sheet with the full program (you only need one of the two):
Click here to download the PDF version (best for printing out; not clickable)
Click here to download the Word version (this version allows you to check the boxes digitally depending on the software you use)
Some of the assignments won’t make sense when you read them now. Don’t worry. You’ll get clear and detailed instructions each week.
How to post your assignments
Tomorrow you’ll receive an email with an outline of next week’s program including a link to all course material for the week.
You post all your assignments in your group; and for each week you start a new topic. This is how it looked in a previous class:
Action point #2
To get ready for next week, set up your topic today.
Go to your own group, scroll down, and create a new topic by adding a topic title and dropping a quick note in the text box.
That’s all for today. Do you feel ready to get started? Have you planned time in your calendar? Is your swipe file ready?
Enchant readers. Woo customers. Win business.
