Totally makes sense. This course has shown me how difficult it is to choose.
Plus, this goes with the recent identity crisis of “Do I position myself as a copywriter or content marketer? Aren’t they kinda the same thing?”
My message is: Sleazy copy may have used to work (and there are some timeless principles that still do)… But people are more savvy now. The tone has changed from high-pressure salesman to trusted friend. We now have the opportunity to be human in our sales messages and feel good about them, not gross.
Thing is – both copywriters/content marketers AND biz owners who want to write their own copy can resonate with that message (just like with yours).
I guess the question is: Which one should I choose…
Let me ask you something… Who’s your target customer? Is it Henrietta?
