You could help her also by learning to enjoy the few moments she has for herself without being guilty.

Helga and Henneke, absolutely! Now I added a few blog post ideas with this in mind 🙂

You may want to think about “help their kids better” – as this is quite generic. I sense that perhaps parents like Sharon want to help their children to lead a more fulfilling life?

That’s very true. I found it hard to put it down in more specific words, because these parents want their kids to be comfortable in their own body and in society, to be happy, loved, and independent. I thought that was too long, but leading a more fulfilling life sums it up really well!

Now for my list of ideas (I chose 10):

1) The guilt-free way of finding time for yourself

2) How to give the siblings of your autistic child the attention they need

3) How to have more time- with a simple change to your to-do list (a lesson from Randy Pausch)

4) Everything you need to know about Risperdal

5) How to choose between a special education kindergarten or a regular one?

6) How to deal with meltdowns?

7) How to get everything you deserve from social security

8) Is the GFCF Diet (gluten-free, casein-free) right for your child?

9) How to ask for help and leave shame behind

10) What happens after age 21? {this could be a series that would cover the subject from all angles- work, living arrangements, legal rights)

Other ideas- interviews with a therapy dog trainer, therapeutic horseback riding guide, autistic kids daycare manager, elementary school teacher.

Seems like there will be a lot to write about..
