Passive Sentences: 4% (not sure why… Hemingway only recognized 2 sentences).
The third one I detected is “the closing chapter that is dedicated to Ezra’s Bar Mitzvah.” But like the others, I think this is fine. Passive sentences aren’t always bad. 🙂
Also, my opening paragraph opens with a question. But I don’t like that paragraph- waiting for future modules to learn how to fix it!..
Yes, we’ll look at this later. One quick way to improve it, is to add more questions:
How many books about Autism do you have on your shelf?
Have you read Temple Grandin’s “The Horse Boy”? And what about “It’s very sad to be autistic”?
By the way, I get a little confused after “What’s special about this book” – it sounds like you’re going to talk about “Following Ezra”, but then you start talking about “The Horse Boy”.
And “I felt I was experiencing it again through the book.” begs for a little explanation. What were you experiencing again?
