I like your pic in color!
Good work on the metaphors. Looks like you’re having fun.
Sometimes, you don’t need to give all the details.
He was as stressed as a child walking home from school with his failing report card that his parents have yet to see.
=> He was as stressed as a child walking home from school with his failing report card.
[to me it feels quite of obvious that his parents haven’t seen it yet, why would the kid otherwise be so stressed?]
He was as sad as a chef on Hell’s Kitchen after being ridiculed and fired by Gordon Ramsay on primetime TV.
=> He was as sad as a chef on Hell’s Kitchen after being ridiculed and fired by Gordon Ramsay.
Or: He was as sad as a chef after being ridiculed and fired by Gordon Ramsay on prime time TV.
Perhaps: Dreaming up metaphors is like learning how to juggle. You have to be concentrated and relaxed at the same time.
I think you have lots of opportunities to weave golf metaphors into your blog posts. I also love your animal & chef metaphors.
